1. Why Lady Han need to die in her character. dapat si lady choi nalang
   for me hindi na maganda ang ending nitong story kung si lady han

Yes! nakakawalang ganang manood talaga pag na wala yung idol mo.lalo na pag nawala si lady han sya panaman yung pinapanood ko every scene di ko na ituluy yung kwento nakakainis! kasi kung ako lang ang director ng jewel hindi ko gagawin to na mamatay si han sa kanyang rule kung sino pa ang mabait sya pa ang mamatay at yung masama sya pa ang magtatagumpay pwede ba yun NO!!!!!!! 9. Mahilig talaga ako sa epic stories, kaya nga when i heard this soap nagmakaawa pa ako sa sister ko para lang manuod kahit sobrang late na. I learned a lot in this story, ibang-iba sa lahat ng napanuod ko!

11. I really really like Ms. Mi-Kyeong Yang or Lady Han. But it so sad to know that she will die that early in the series. I really like her beautiful innocent face. I watch the series not only because of its great story but also because of Lady Han. I really really do like her! Hope that GMA will invite her here in our country soon!

14. hay naku, nagpunta kami sa korea..i bought a complete dvd set, 19 dvd sya…i don’t like to jump to the last dvd kasi gusto ko damdamin lahat.. naka subtitle lang sya i’m on th 13th dvd..pero pinapanood ko pa rin sa ch 7..everyone will be inspired. Super ganda ng story, pero di ko iku kwento..isa lang masasabi ko, maganda yung love story nila ni Ming Jo Ho, di nung King ha. Its really woth the time.. and mrami pa kayo matutuhan pag naging trainee-doctor na sya.

    You know what, I really like Lady Han and Jang Geum.
    Sana visit naman sila dito sa phil.
    Iwan ko ba, bakit pa kasi kailangan mamatay ni Lady Han eh! Ang bait pa naman nya tapos idol ko pa. Hay, naku!!!!!!! Kung nandoon lang ako sa panahon nila ako talaga ang papatay kay Lady Choi kasi ang salbasalbahi nya. Hindi na siya na kuntinto gumawa pa siya ng isang Conspiracy para mamatay lang si Lady Han.
    Ang masasabi ko lang ay patuloy pa rin tayo manood ng Jewel in the palace kasi and ganda-ganda kasi ng story tapos napaka-galing pa nag mga idols ko si Lady Han at Jang Geum….

24. dae jng geum is a story of strong-willed woman, with character developed thru times mostly of difficult times, i hope filipino men & women learns from this korean film. this is reality, and story shows the equality of man to woman and those of greater things a woman can accomplish. Best casting and great artist. Lady Han should die bcoz thats the reality of life, not all good character prevails till the end of story but she created an IMPACT! Korean who made this and shared it to the world should be applauded and recognized for such an unselfish sharing of their culture and wealth. God bless dae jang geum. Sana magkita tayo kasi kamukha ko si geum young (Ri-Na Hong)! Promise… Pero mabait ako.

    1> Originally, the role of Jang geum was suppose to be played by the one who’s portraying Yeon Sang!

    2> Originally, the role of Lady han was suppose to be played by the on e whos playing the role of lady choi.

    3> In real life, Catain Min and Jang geum didnt fall in love but the king is!

    4> Real Lady Choi is 10x worse. She even asked Geum Young to be the kings “mistress”!

    5> The kings queen is really powerfull in real life. She ruled korea for 8 yrs. Thus, Jang geum is not the only woman who broke gender inequality in their history.

    6>Jang geum is the first and only royal physician in korean history till this time.

    7> the one whos portraying Captain min is 2 yrs younger than Jang geum played by Lee young Ae. Lee young Ae will be 35 yrs old this Jan 31!

    8>The actor who plays capatin min can also be sen in GMA’s LOVE LETTER and Lady Choi is part of ALL ABOUT EVE!

    9> The character of Lady Han will suppose to Die earlier but due to fans protest, her death was delayed.

27. we have been watching Jewel since day 1, we do not want to miss any sequel, we even stay up late just to watch it , even we have to wake up ealrly for the next day work. This novela is remarkably full of love , passion, dedication, loyalty at to name a few! A salute to the government of Korea for this awesome history they have! Thanks GMA-7 for giving us filipinos watch this kind of story. its an inspiration to us!

29. hay ayon sa kasaysayan mamamatay talaga si Lady Han wala na tayong magagawa doon. pero maganda pa rin yun story tapusin nyo kasi madami talagang matutunan sana manuod ang Govt. kasi parang nakukumpara ko sa kanila ang family ni Lady Choi …puro kapangyarihan at fame lang sana magkaroon ang Pilipinas ng Isang Janggeum para manaig ang katarungan …wala lang nyahaha…

34. i usually don’t watch telenovela all the time but this one really make me hurry in all that house chores at night just to sit and never get up until jewel… is finished…….and say!!! hay…ma lalate na naman ako ng gising…
    but that’s really worth my spare time…i’m enjoying it so much i don’t want to missed even a single episode…for me watching jewel …is the last thing i appetite myself to sleep….its really interesting and you’ll also learn a lot from them…(”,)

40. jewel in the palace sets a new record in philippine television. all characters are great and ut really change my tv habit. i’ve never stay late at night for watching t.v. unless it was weekend, hirap magtrabaho kapag puyat but it makes me feel good especially when i came to the office and iyon pa rin ang usapan. hehe! di bale ng puyat ang ganda naman. this show is great,how i wish wala naitong ending….

41. Jewel in the palace is the best korean drama!
    It has a very nice story with lots of interesting characters.

    Undoubtedly, the best performer in the series is Yang Mi Kyung. As Lady Han, she perfectly portrayed her role well in all the scenes she did. I got too carried away, as if i was really affected, and absorbs everything whenever she delivers all of her emotions. She is a beautiful and outstanding actress.

    Lee Young Ae is a great performer too. Her character as Janggeum shine all the more in the next half of the series while she strives hard to become a lady doctor and got back to the palace with full determination to regain her mom and lady han’s innocence. She is really a real jewel in this drama because her beautiful face and her good acting skills compliments well her role of being self-giving, kindhearted, innocent yet intelligent, brave and courageous heroine.

    Other remarkable character roles played well that also captured my heart was that of Madam Jung as her leadership was truly an inspiration to believe and stand only for what is right, Janggeum’s mother for her dramatic moments with her bestfriend and with her daughter, and the witty performance of little janggeum with lots of perseverance.

    The rest of the characters which have great impact on Janggeum’s life including captain min, her poster parents, her colleagues and mentors, the royal family and the cui family also did very very well. Most of them are really convincing in their respective portrayal for the role.

    A great story plus a great cast is really the secret formula for the success of this drama.

43. I love watching Jewel in the Palace because for me, it has something “more deep to show to its viewers”…it;s not only about cooking or just about Korea’s history…there’s a lot more into it and you will see it as you watch the show!
    I love the character of the little girl who played as the young Jang-Geum, she’s so cute and talented!
    But my favorite of all is LADY HAN!!! I cried a lot when she died…
    Her character really struck my soul so much…cause I can see my own mother in her and she has this “charismatic image” on tv…

45. Lady Han was a mother figure not only to jang geum, but also to all of us viewers. Ms Yang Mi Kyung’s brilliant acting really made her seem so real in all of us. it’s no wonder so many protested against her death. we all feel as if we cant watch on anymore. thats why the days at the royal kitchen were the best. And since she is real inside all of us, in our hearts, she’ll forever be beside jang geum and ourselves, just like what jang geum mentioned in an episode after Lady Han’s death. It went something like to min jung ho”even if you are not here with me, i can always sense your presence around me, comforting me, just like that of the deceased Lady Han.” so based on this, we can all be comforted.

53. Oh my god! I love this telenovela. All of my famiLy, sobrang inaabangan e2 pa gabi. We learned a lot of lesson from this elenovela. I really like jang geum play by Lee Young Ae, she’s very beautiful, bgay cLa ni kapitan play by Ji jin Hee. Wla akong mssbi, pti ang location, super ganda. Ska maganda tLaga ang telenovela ng korea, unlike d2 sa atin, paikot-ikot ang story. Gus2 din nmin si Lady Han.

55. JITP is great. Very original. there’s nothing like it. I hope we Filipinos can produce one like that which we can showcase our traditions and culture. Kakainggit ang mga Koreans. The story is very real, sarap gayahin si jang geum, si lady han. Malakas and political statement. Parang nasa Pilipinas. Siguro tayong mga Filipinos should be true to ourselves just like Korean. They do not hesitate to show the truth in their political system. Kaya they are now what they are. Sana tayo din ano? all the characters are engaging. Even Mang Dug ko and his wife. Very witty presentation. Full of good characters. Of course there are contrabidas to show the opposite. Well presented. Thanks GMA 7.

64. I just discovered “Dae Jang-Geum” last week, and already I’m hooked on it! The story is quite absorbing and the characters are fascinating to watch, especially Jang-Geum herself.

71. The actress who played the role of King’s wife is “Park, Jung Sook”. She really was not an actress and never played in an acting role till DJG. Her main job used to be TV host (or announcer) till the producer asked her.

73. i only started watching this show about 2 weeks ago kase nandito kame sa australia. jinda labas dito.. the saddest moment was when lady han died, bakit sha?? my ate forced me to keep watching the rest of the show kase hindi ko na gusto manood kase wla na sha..
