　　新婚一年格外珍惜

　　去年在上海拍攝電視劇《第100個新娘》時，沒有多少記者在意池珍熙。但今年《大長今》旋風式熱播後，池珍熙因此一炮走紅，他在現實中的身份也受到了關注───巨蟹座的池珍熙是居家型男人，父母就住在漢城同棟樓，未來，還打算生3個孩子。
　　在上海拍完戲後，他于去年秋天在漢城舉行盛大婚禮，將愛情長跑6年的女友正式套牢。33歲的池珍熙與29歲的設計師女友李秀妍相識于工作中，當時兩人為廣告公司同事，即使池珍熙由專門為明星拍照的攝影師轉成大紅大紫的藝人，仍相當珍惜圈外女友。池珍熙在《大長今》中的情人李英愛，因有其他行程安排無法出席婚禮，而制作《大長今》的MBC電視台人員和全度妍、趙仁成、車太炫、金賢珠等知名藝人，共1500多人前往祝賀。

　　角色如元寶砸在頭頂

　　當初《大長今》的副導演偶然看電視劇〈情書》，池珍熙演的角色讓副導演眼前一亮，立刻就把這個穩重的男人推薦給《大長今》的導演，導演看後也覺得他很好。再經過多次的交流以後，導演認定這個有著書卷氣息的英俊男人池珍熙就是當之無愧的《大長今》男一號閔政浩的最佳扮演者。
　　“最難忘的就是服裝。拍戲都在山里，夏熱冬冷，但每天都要穿著厚厚的衣服……還有,在山里,好吃的食物根本吃不到，更難受！”
　　問他拍這部戲有什麼收獲，他拍拍腦袋想半天，只說有一句台詞印象特別深刻：“人，會差別人；但書，不會差別人。”翻譯艱難地解釋說，他說的可能是，書的面前人人平等，但人與人的交往，如果不喜歡對方，就可以避開那個人。

　　我不是“閔式完美男人”

　　《大長今》那麼火，秘訣到底是什麼？問問當事人怎麼看。
　　“《大長今》跟傳統的韓劇不太一樣。導演要求盡量按自己的方法演，千萬不能誇張……”池珍熙回憶說，導演在現場只要求“做你自己”，希望每位演員都隨意發揮，實現自己。最終，全劇中雖有那麼多人物，但每一個人物都有獨特的故事，讓觀眾對哪一個都能夠印象深刻。
　　池珍熙除了在熒屏上溫情脈脈外，在圈中也是出名的好男人。請他把自己和閔大人放在一起做比較，他卻有些擔當不起：“我覺得閔大人是完美的男人，我自己只是個普通人。他是貴族我不是。”
　　“更多的差別？……”他沉思許久，略帶羞澀地說，“基本上也沒什麼了，我們的個性差不多，真的！”
