S. Korean stars lined up for CCTV Spring Festival gala
November 17, 2005South Korean star Lee Young-ae, heroine of the TV drama “Dae Jang Geum,” and screen heartthrob Bae Yong-joon have been lined up for CCTV’s 2006 Spring Festival gala. Lang Kun, general director of the CCTV 2006 Spring Festival party, made the announcement yesterday in Beijing.
Lee rocketed to popularity in China for her role as Jang Geum in “Dae Jang Geum.” The 70-episode series topped the rating nationally, even though it was aired at the late hour of 10 p.m., according to Cvsc-Sofres Media, a Sino-French media research firm. The series ended a few weeks ago.
The actress will star in the 24-episode Hong Kong TV drama “Three Years and Eight Months.” The TV series about the war of resistance against Japanese aggression from 1937 to 1945 will start shooting this month.
Lee will appear in eight episodes as a Korean painter who flees from Korea to Hong Kong.

Er…i thought the rumour has been dispelled a long time ago…no, Miss Lee Young Ae will nOt be starring in the HK tv drama “Three Years and Eight Months”…her manager has made a public announcement about the denial quite some time ago….

Hi, when I start to write this letter, I thought very much about what I must write .First I want to express my interest to your really beautiful acting , I first saw you on ‘ Dae Jang Geum ‘ and I really attract to your acting and so I decide to know more about you and your films then I search about you on internet , for the first time I saw your pictures in web pages I really astonished .I am sure that you ask why this person become astonished when saw me in the internet , you know I said that I’m attract by your acting but what was I saw in the internet was your ( I’m really sorry ) body and your apparent form not your beautiful acting that I love it very much .
