Jewel in the Palace (Taejanggum) Plane Carries Lee Young-ae
January 5, 2007Actress Lee Young-ae boarded an Asiana Airlines plane that was emblazoned with her image and named after her soap opera “Jewel in the Palace’’ (Taejanggum) as she headed to a winter event in Harbin, China.
Lee, publicity ambassador for the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival, left Seoul on the plane yesterday to participate in the annual winter festivity.
The 260-seat plane was fully booked, filled by Lee and other dignitaries, including former Prime Minister Lee Soo-sung.
The festival, which runs from today through March 5, commemorates the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and China.
Ice sculptures featuring hallyu, or Korean wave, stars will be presented to symbolize the friendship between the two countries.
Asiana has operated the Taejanggum plane since May last year. The plane has traveled to Taiwan, Japan, China and Southeast Asian countries where the television drama featuring traditional Korean cuisine has gained popularity.
Since 2004 the carrier has offered a special Taejanggum in-flight meal comprised of dishes eaten by the royal family during the Choson Kingdom.

Hi,
now we can watch Jewel in the palace in iran TV. There is no doubt about the effect of this movie on iranians specially because of new notes that we found about korean culture. I think the actors and actresses of this movie are playing well. I should mention that the movie has been translated beautifully to the persian and the voice has been choosen perfectly and thesefactors made it brilliant.

WOW! This movie has absorbed so many audience for itself. Wherever you you go people are talking about “Dae Jang Geum”. I’ve not seen any part of this popular film but I think that I’ve missed it. Congratulation for the producers of this soap opera.

Jewel in palace is a good film but Jang Guem has very positive character alike a holy person and it`s very bad because every body has wrongs against Jang Guem.In fact this character is out of reach, in the rael world.

Not a bad soap / good for wasting time !
I didnt like it , bcoz Koreans are making History … There are REAL heros in history like Avvecina which was the best during histiory lol even now great universities like Oxford are teaching his books after maybe 600 years or more … OR Zakaria Razi who discovered alcohol for the first time …
In this soap Jang Geum could done anything, i bet if there were any 55 episode Jang Geum could find AIDS vaccine too !!!

Sayın Leyla Hanım.'’Drama sevmiyorum'’diyenlere bu diziyi seyretmelerini tavsiye ediyorum.Diziye doymak ne mümkün,inanın tüm gün verseler işimi aksatırlar.Tabii ki herşeyi tadında bırakmak güzel ama ben doyamadım.54bölüm sonunda muhteşem bir finalle kalbimizde öyle yer etti ki unutmak yada tadında bırakmak bir yana bu dizinin bize geç gelmesine üzüldüm.Lee Young-Ae,Ji Jin-Hee ,Hong Li-na, Im Ho ,Yang Mi-gyeong ,hatta dizideki en sevmediğin kadın aktör çıkardığı muhteşem karakteriyle Gyeon Mi-ri ve diger yan oyuncuların harika katkılarıyla yarattıkları ortamı övmek inanın az olur.Ben 54 bölümlük maratonda çok keyif aldım.Onların bu katkılarından dolayı ne kadar teşekkür etsem azdır.Bu abartma değil,hakkını teslim etmedir.Ayrıca sizededizi dostu olarak teşekkürlerimi sunmayı borç bilirim.Saygılarımla……..İrfan er

İrfan Bey şanslısınız ki; bu diziyi ilk bölümlerinden itibaren izleyebilmişsiniz.Lakin ben son 10 bölümde bu harikulade diziyi yakalayabildim.Ne yalan söyleyeyim bu kadar kısa olacağını hayal bile edememiştim.Ümitsizliğe düştüğüm bir anda TRT ye ileti gönderme fikri aklıma geldi.Dizinin tekrarının olup olmayacağına dair bir bilgi istedim.Çok sağolsunlar bir gün sonra cevap yazma nezaketinde bulundular.Ve dediklerine göre, yazın bir tekrarı daha olacakmış.Ayrıca dizi o kadar güzel yorumlar almış ki; TRT1 yeni yayın döneminde aynı tadı damaklarımızda bırakacak bir Kore dizisi ile karşımıza çıkacakmış.

Jewel in the palace(Dae Jang Geum) seyrine doyum olmayan muhteşem bir tv dizisidir.Bu dizini konusundan oynayan bütün karakterlerine ve teknik ekibine bu olağanüstü çalışma için teşekkür ederim.Dizimizin ilk bölümünden finaline kadar anlatamayacağım bir heyecanla ve sabırla yayın saatini beklerken bile içinde çok farklı duygular içindeydim.Her an ne olacağı belli olmayan saray içi entrikaların dizi kahramanlarımıza ve bize ne sürprizler hazırlayacağını tahmin bile edemedim.Her dakikası ayrı bir tutkuyla izlenecek olağanüstü muhteşem bir çalışma herkesin mutlaka izlemesi gerekir.Sevgilerimle…İrfanER…İstanbul…Türkiye

Ben size hergün yazmak istiyorum.TRT bizim ülkemizin ilk televizyonu dur.Böyle güzel dizilerin öncüsüdür.Jewel in the palace (saraydaki mücevher) dizisinin tekrarında mutlaka hepsini kaydedeceğim.Sizin için yalnızca dizi olabilir.Benim için inannın ki bir yaşam felsefesi,vazgeçilmeyecek bir tutkudur.Bu benim gibi insanların bu sevgiyi yayması için gereklidir.Oynayan koreli oyuncularımızın ve teknik ekibinin dizi çekimleri sırasında verdiği zorlu çalışma arzuları,emekleri sayesinde insan yaşamının vazgeçilmezi olan yüksek ahlak,erdemli davranışların peyaz perdeye yansımasıdır.İnsan sevgisini ,sadakati ,başarma arzusunu bu kadar güzel anlatan başka bir dizi daha ben bilmiyorum.Sizleri seviyorum.Sevgilerimle…İrfan ER…İstanbul…TÜRKİYE
