Interview with Jewel in the Palace’s Casts

During the week-long schedule, they visited various filming spots of the the popular Korean drama Jewel in the Palace, saw the beauty and social customs of Seoul, Jeju and Kwangju, and felt the humanity charm of Jewel in the Palace drama. In this process, newspaper reporters also can interviewed there celebrities from Jewel in the Palace that acted in the leading role: Ji Jin Hee (Min Jung Ho), Zhao Ting En (Small Jang Geum), Kyun Mi Ri (Lady Choi)
Lady Choi: Three children’s beautiful mothers
On November 1st, when Court Lady Choi appeared in front of the reporters, her graceful demeanour created a little surprise: In Jewel in the Palace, even her appearance looks sinister all the time, but unexpectedly so fashionable and young in the real life.
Why wants to act in a character such a contract with oneself? She pursed the lips and smiled: “As soon as I read the script, I thought Lady Choi’s role is very attractive, therefore, from starts to now, I never regret.” After acting as Lady Choi, have the audiences hate her? The reply is no, because in Korea, Kyun Mi Ri is the most popular actress, people has full understanding of her, and they will only acclaim her performing skill. In fact, previously she always appeared as orthogenesis beautiful sorrowful role, suddenly, she turned into “biggest wicked female in entire Asia”, audiences therefore also noticed that she can be such a wicked role. A reporter said that Jewel in the Palace ratings started to glide down once Lady Choi died. To this news, Kyun Mi Ri looked suprise, she thought for a while and said this possibly was because Lady Choi was continuously bullying Jang Geum, so when Lady Choi died, everybody felt relieved. But, “All entertainers also hope that their drama viewing ratio is always good”.
When reporter somewhat took the liberty to inquire about her family, she hesitates for a moment, and finally frankly said, she has three children, one 15 years old, one 11 years old, one 7 year old. And this revealation brought some surprise: The Korean woman really can handle works, family, and beauty properly! Kyun Mi Ri also quite surprised and asked: Why not? She said, when Jewel in the Palace just started to broadcast, her three children watched and discussed, “they thought Han Shang Gong was the unprincipled person, they watched and scolded, but after a while, only then they knew their mother actually is the unprincipled person, thereupon they watched silently.” This brought in the laughter again. No wonder the actor Ji Jin Hee said in the interview that: At filming location, Lady Choi was the most popular, her side always got a group of people.
In this March Kyun Mi Ri went to Shanghai to attend a fashion activity, at that time Jewel in the Palace has not yet broadcast in the China, “a lot of people felt strange, why all other models were tall, only me is short clamps in among them.” What makes the domestic medias cheer is, on 7th this month, she will go to Shanghai with young Jang Geum, as Korea tourism’s ambassador status - believes that her affinity will be able to have the incisive display at that time.
Ji Jin Hee: The cancellation kiss scene is the most unforgettable
When Ji Jin Hee went to Shanghai during first half of the year to promote “Perhaps Love”, not many people paid attention to him, but along with Jewel in the Palace broadcasted in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China, this Jewel in the Palace’s perfect actor became popular. Day fore, when Ji Jin Hee appeared in front of reporters from 11 countries, there was excitement and scream.
Wore white shirt and the suit, Ji Jin Hee looks thinner than the on television. Regarding can acted in Jewel in the Palace, his elegantly expressed he was extremely honored. He also said, there was no special incidents in the filming process. 2 scenes left him deeper impression: One, when filming rescue Jang Geum, he was carelessly burnt down the eyebrow; Two, after rescue Jang Geum, they supposed to have kiss scene, but Lee Young Ae felt that it’s not good, so it was cancelled.
Some reporters asked: What’s the main Korean man’s charm? He immediately modestly replied: I personally do not have this kind of special characteristic, but Korea’s male all has the charm, besides handsome, they also has the individuality. After praised Korea’s man, he also praises Korean’s scenic spot: “There are extremely many beautiful places; I like most temple Lai Su during the autumn, there has 600 meters of trees covered roads, after you watch you will exclaim in surprise, how come in the world could have the such a beautiful place.” After that reporters visited the place, that trees road has been named as “Ji Jin Hee Road”, at here, they filmed the scene of Min Jung Hi affectionly gazed at melancholy gravel throwing Jang Geum.
His gentlemanly thanks everybody to pay attention to this serial TV drama, and hopes that everybody support his new movie “Perhaps Love” that will debuts in December, “My scene will not be many in the movie, but the role will be very important.” Next month, he will start filming of new drama, which will broadcasts in March next year.
Small Jang Geum: I want to be big star
A lot of viewers love the lively, and tough life experience little Jang Geum. On November 1st, wearing the cowboy hat, the pink colored top, little Jang Geum has growed higher than when she was at the drama, when she appeared in the interview. Both eyes are as nimble as before, when replied she demonstrated a skill that her age should not had.
She and Court Lady Kyun Mi Ri appeared together, irreconcilable foe in the drama, in actual they just like a mother and daughter in the real life. Really, she told reporters that she used to act as Kyun Mi Ri’s daughter, and also some other dramas, but the role was minimal. When reporter asked which actor or actress she most admired in Jewel in the Palace drama, she quick-wittedly replies: When filming this drama, very many entertainers are good, “I cannot say which entertainer I hope to learn from, there is no way to say. But, in Dae Jang Geum drama, Court Lady Jung, Court Lady Choi and Court Lady Han acted from young till adult, the popularity are higher, the skills also better, I wanted to study these three seniors.” By saying this, everybody present there was startled: Really intelligent.
The small Jang Geum real name is Jo Jung Eun, this year 10 years old, study at elementary school grade 4. After finished filming Jewel in the Palace, she biggest feeling is “every mater must be done very diligently, only then can realize the dream.” She hopes after entering the junior school and the high school, “continue to be a very good actress.” Become a big star, ” is my individual dream.”

本报记者亲赴韩国与《大长今》主演面对面
11月2日，来自11个国家的60位女记者从韩国返回各自的国家。在为时一周的行程中，她们探访了热门韩剧《大长今》的各个拍摄基地，饱览汉城、济州、光州各地自然风土人情，感受《大长今》一剧的人文魅力。在此过程中，本报记者也得以近距离采访《大长今》的三位主演：“闵大人”池珍熙、“小长今”赵庭恩、“崔尚宫”甄美莉。
崔尚宫：三个孩子的美丽妈妈
11月1日，当“崔尚宫”甄美莉出现在访韩的记者团面前时，她的优雅风度引来了一片惊叹声：《大长今》中连长相都有些阴险的崔尚宫在现实生活中居然如此时尚年轻。
为什么要演跟自己反差这么大的角色？甄美莉抿嘴微笑：“我一接触这个剧本，就觉得崔尚宫这个角色很有魅力，所以，从开始到现在，我一直都没有后悔。”演了之后会不会有观众憎恨她？回答是不会，因为在韩国，甄美莉是人气最旺的女演员，人们对她有充分的了解，只会赞叹她的演技。事实上，在崔尚宫之前她一直演着美丽哀愁的角色，突然之间，她“变成全亚洲最大的恶女”，观众也因此眼前一亮：原来，她也可以演这样的恶女。有记者说，崔尚宫一死，《大长今》的收视率就开始下滑。对这个消息，甄美莉有些意外，她想了一会说，这可能是因为崔尚宫一直在欺负长今，崔尚宫死掉了，大家就放心了。不过，“每个艺人都希望自己的电视剧收视率一直都好”。
当记者有些冒昧地问及她的家庭时，她犹豫了片刻，终于坦率说，她有三个孩子，一个满15岁了，一个11岁，一个7岁——这又引来了一片惊叹声：韩国女人真的可以事业、家庭、养颜三不误！甄美莉也很惊讶地瞪大眼睛：不可以吗？她说，《大长今》刚开始播出时，三个孩子一边看一边议，“他们一直以为韩尚宫是坏人，边看边骂，但是看着看着，才知道自己妈妈演的是坏人，于是他们就变得乖乖的。”——这又引来了一片笑声。难怪男主角池珍熙在接受采访时会说：在片场，崔尚宫的人气是最旺的，她的身边总是围绕着一群人。
今年三月甄美莉去上海出席过一场时装秀活动，那时《大长今》还没有在中国内地播出，“很多人奇怪，为什么其他模特个子都高高的，只有我矮矮的夹在中间。”让国内媒体欢呼的是，本月7日她将与小长今一起去上海，以韩国观光公社亲善大使的身份去交流——相信她的亲和力届时会有淋漓尽致的发挥。
池珍熙：取消吻戏最难忘
今年上半年池珍熙为宣传《如果·爱》到上海时，还很少有人留意到他，但是随着《大长今》在台湾、香港、中国内地的陆续播出，这位《大长今》中的完美男主角变得熠熠生辉。日前，当池珍熙意外出现在访韩的11个国家的记者面前时，现场顿时沸腾，一片尖叫声。
白色衬衣、西装革履的池珍熙看起来要比电视上清瘦些。对于出演《大长今》，他文雅有礼地表示“非常荣幸”。又说，在拍摄过程中没有发生特别的“插曲”。印象比较深刻的有两个场面：一是在拍摄中为了救长今，他不慎被火烧到眉毛；二是救出长今后，两人本来有一场吻戏，但是李英爱觉得不大好，于是就取消了。
有记者问：韩国男人的魅力主要是什么？他立即谦虚地道：我个人没有这种特质，不过韩国的男性都很有魅力，帅之外，还都很有个性。夸了韩国的男人，他接着又夸韩国的景点：“有非常多、非常美的地方；我个人最喜欢秋季的来苏寺，有600米的树林路，你看了会惊叹，世界上怎么会有这么美的地方。”记者后来看到，那条树林路已被命名为“池珍熙路”，在那儿，拍了闵大人深情注视着郁闷掷石子的长今的场景。
他绅士地“感谢各位关注这部连续剧，”并希望大家支持12月左右将上映的《如果·爱》，“我在剧中戏分不多，但角色很重要。”下个月，他又将进行新剧的拍摄，明年三月即将播出。
小长今：我要做大明星
《大长今》中灵动活泼、身世坎坷的小长今引来了无数观众的怜爱。11月1日，戴牛仔帽、着粉红上装的小长今出现在采访现场时，已经明显比电视剧中长高不少，双眼依旧灵活，应对时却又透出一丝与她年龄不相称的老练。
她和“崔尚宫”甄美莉携手出现，剧中不共戴天的仇敌在现实生活中却亲如母女。果然，她告诉记者，以前，她演过甄美莉的女儿角色，还演过其他一些剧，但戏分不很重。当有记者问她最佩服《大长今》中哪位演员时，她机智地回答道：拍这个戏时，很多艺人都很厉害，“我不能说想学哪个艺人，没办法说出来。不过，剧中的崔尚宫、郑尚宫、韩尚宫三位，她们从年轻时演到现在，人气一直较旺，内功很深，我想学这三位前辈。”此言一出，举座皆惊：果然聪明。
小长今真名赵庭恩，今年10岁，读小学4年级。拍完《大长今》，她最大的感受就是“每件事都要很努力去做，最后才能实现自己的梦。”她希望进入初中、高中后，“一直都是很好的演员。”做大明星，“是我个人的一个梦。”
